Santogold - Lights Out

Louis C.K. - Deer Suck

Who Am I?

One of Americas greatest actors, Andrew Divoff.

Andrew Divoff

Easily overlooked by those not appreciating thespian excellence, Andrew has been involved in many pictures that shaped my adolescence. Having been cast in an episode of Burn Notice, I found myself reminiscing on Andrew’s work. Here are the highlights in my book:

Toy Soldiers (1991) - The meeting of Die Hard and Taps, Andrew decides to take an elite boarding school hostage to force the release of his brother. Little did he know, but Mikey from The Goonies had other plans. Classic hilarity ensues.

Another 48 Hours (1990) - Any that can give Nick Nolte a hard time is alright with me.

Well, there is more out there, but who cares.

Wagon Wheel - Old Crow Medicine Show

I have been needing a taste of home in these turbulent times, and Old Crow Medicine Show is the answer.  Out of Tennessee, this the rockabilly cure-all.  Enjoy.

Brandon Bird - My New Favorite Painter

Need I say more about Brandon Bird other than Lambertback. Ok, so some of you souls haven’t seen Highlander and have no idea what this pertains to, however I will stand beside this humor with greadmiration and albeit jealousy of the likeness.

Jones’ Big Ass Truck Rental & Storage

A man is just as good as those he keeps around him…this is no more true than Madigan and my fine friends at Jones Big Ass Truck Rental and Storage.  Being a respectable member of the Southern community as well as the social marketing & media industry, I feel perpetuating this business model is one of my many duties.  Weed, bathtub, motorcycle-in-bathtub, and even AK-47’s, have a heart and give some buzness.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Joins The Expendables

I brought attention to this gem a little while ago, but this movie is getting better and better by the minute. IMDb is reporting that the Governator himself Arnold Schwarzenegger has joined the cast. According to IMDb,

Arnold Schwarzenegger is heading back to the big-screen - he has signed up to appear in fellow muscleman Sylvester Stallone’s upcoming film The Expendables.

Schwarzenegger put his acting career on hold when he was elected Governor of California in 2003.

But he is set to make a return with a brief appearance playing himself in Stallone’s star-studded movie.

The film, about a team of mercenaries heading to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator, will also star Ben Kingsley, Eric Roberts, and Mickey Rourke.

Filming is scheduled to start shooting next month.

Google Trends & SEO Keyword Projections

Earlier today I read a post entitled “The Death of Web 2.0”   A well written post by Robin Wauters over at TechCrunch, it addressed the declining attention placed on the term Web 2.0, as dictated by Google Trends.  While the post itself was interesting, it addresses several concerns clients and I have been having about SEO as well as projected declines, and increases, in keyword and phrase attention for SEO purposes on the web.

IFC to Distribute & Release “Dead Snow”

The Norweigan Nazi-Zombie film, what a great premise, Dead Snow has been picked by IFC at Sundance for distribution and release.  IFC grabbing this film is a great sign not only of the quality of the flick, but also a sign that the film will be kept whole and not cut for American audiences.  Happy…below is the trailer for Dead Snow as well as the list of films picked for distribution at Sundance (not seeing Bronson anywhere) and after the jump the list of films tapped for distribution according to Peter Martin at Cinematical.com.
