Easily overlooked by those not appreciating thespian excellence, Andrew has been involved in many pictures that shaped my adolescence. Having been cast in an episode of Burn Notice, I found myself reminiscing on Andrew’s work. Here are the highlights in my book:

Toy Soldiers (1991) - The meeting of Die Hard and Taps, Andrew decides to take an elite boarding school hostage to force the release of his brother. Little did he know, but Mikey from The Goonies had other plans. Classic hilarity ensues.

Another 48 Hours (1990) - Any that can give Nick Nolte a hard time is alright with me.

I brought attention to this gem a little while ago, but this movie is getting better and better by the minute. IMDb is reporting that the Governator himself Arnold Schwarzenegger has joined the cast. According to IMDb,

Arnold Schwarzenegger is heading back to the big-screen - he has signed up to appear in fellow muscleman Sylvester Stallone’s upcoming film The Expendables.

Schwarzenegger put his acting career on hold when he was elected Governor of California in 2003.

But he is set to make a return with a brief appearance playing himself in Stallone’s star-studded movie.

The film, about a team of mercenaries heading to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator, will also star Ben Kingsley, Eric Roberts, and Mickey Rourke.

Earlier today I read a post entitled “The Death of Web 2.0” A well written post by Robin Wauters over at TechCrunch, it addressed the declining attention placed on the term Web 2.0, as dictated by Google Trends. While the post itself was interesting, it addresses several concerns clients and I have been having about SEO as well as projected declines, and increases, in keyword and phrase attention for SEO purposes on the web.

One particular client, a web design firm, has been concerned with their title and meta information, as their traffic for particular terms has steadily been declining over the past couple years. Oddily enough, their placement for their “city + website design” had not changed, they are currently number one. So, naturally they wanted to expand further upon the term with more long tail stems. However, this would have been wasted effort.

I consulted Google Trends and unfortunately, the term “web site design” in on the decline, resulting in the steady drop in traffic.

The next step, after explaining many times through skepticism, is to change as the times do. One of the easiest and most reliable tools to see where the trend is headed on the internet is using Google Insight, a Google Trends and Keyword tool hybrid. This can provide the best direction to steer an SEO campaign that has gone sour, or better yet to track the market for a web site and correlating demand.
